This conference is hosted by the Department of Health Science and Technology at Aalborg University and the Research Centre for Health and Applied Technology at UCN, with funding from the Novo Nordisk Foundation. Therefor we can offer a very cheap conference fee 33,73 excl. vat.
With healthcare systems worldwide under increasing pressure due to ageing populations, rising comorbidities, and workforce shortages, digital transformation is a potential solution. However, to fully harness the benefits of digital healthcare, we must ensure that citizens, patients, and healthcare professionals possess the necessary digital health literacy competencies. This conference aims to explore solutions and strategies to enhance digital health literacy and promote sustainable and equitable healthcare systems.
We warmly invite you to submit an abstract for an oral presentation, poster, or flash talk that addresses the conference themes from either a research or practice perspective.ย

- Inequalities in digital health literacy
- Assessing and monitoring digital health literacy in practice
- Advancing organizational health literacy in the public and private sectors
- Developing and evaluating strategies and interventions to address insufficient digital health literacy
- Challenges in practice and from a citizen, professional, and/or organizational perspective regarding digital health literacy
This conference provides a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and engage in discussions on digital health literacy. Furthermore, it will serve as a platform for establishing an international network of experts in the field.
