IDEAHL presents its European Health Literacy Strategy at ICIC25 in Lisbon

The European Health Literacy Strategy developed by the IDEAHL project was presented at the 25th International Conference on Integrated Care (ICIC25), held from 14–16 May 2025 in Lisbon.

Under the title “IDEAHL’s European Health Literacy Strategy: citizen participation to inform public health policies”, the presentation was delivered by Cristina Fernandez García  and Marta Pisano González, who highlighted the crucial role of citizen participation in shaping more effective and inclusive public health policies.

IDEAHL’s strategy aims to enhance health literacy across Europe by empowering citizens and promoting informed decision-making in health-related matters.

The event brought together international experts in integrated care and served as an excellent platform to showcase innovative initiatives like IDEAHL, which seek to transform health systems through equity, inclusion, and citizen engagement.

The project “Improving Digital Empowerment for Active Healthy Living (IDEAHL)” has received funding by the Horizon Europe Framework Programme under GA 101057477
