Workshop on Mapping existing practices in Health Literacy (HL) and digital Health Literacy (d)HL

On the 16th of September 2022 the IDEAHL consortium held its first workshop with representatives from the practice field, to identify obstacles, difficulties, and areas of improvement in working towards a higher level of (d)HL in Europe.
In total, 59 people attended the workshop, working in groups of 6-8 people to discuss obstacles and difficulties and areas of improvement, respectively through a participatory and co-creating approach.
The workshop addressed the issues of citizens’, skills, interoperability, and integration of initiatives between healthcare and social services, and management of data by healthcare and social care providers as well as scaling up of individual initiatives at a national level.
Representative of the health sector actively contributed with their knowledge and expertise in relation to HL and (d)HL.
