On 20th September, the IDEAHL project hosted a workshop on Digital Health Literacy Strategy – Gender, ethics & privacy toolkit to present the second draft of the EU dHL Strategy and update the gender and inclusion, ethics and privacy toolkit.
The workshop was attended by 25 participants, including members of the consortium, the Advisory Board and health literacy and digital health literacy experts.
The Coordination team briefly introduced the IDEAHL project as well as the piloting actions which partners will implement in their respective countries while Consulta Europa, leader of the work package 2, presented the second draft version of the strategy. The (d)HL experts and the AB shared their views in a discussion centring on four key questions related to the strategy.
The second part of the workshop focused on the IDEAHL’s toolkit for gender and ethical inclusion and privacy, presented by the Coordination team. Its purpose was to validate the first version’s content and integrate concepts obtained from the co-creation actions previously carried out by the IDEAHL partners and stakeholders (vulnerable groups, migrants, low-income citizens, older adults, women, and people with chronic illnesses, among others).
