On 27 February, the CEI promoted digital health literacy through a local event for which stakeholders converged to hear about the achievements of the IDEAHL project – Improving Digital Empowerment for Active Healthy Living.
Attended by representatives from the healthcare and research institutions, regional government, professionals, and university representatives, the discussions focused on digital tools, access to available services and possible gaps and obstacles of improving health literacy, including insights from the M-POHL group on health literacy in Italy, policy recommendations on digital transformation from the DELIVER project, and the challenges and successes of digital health in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region post-national recovery and resilience plan (PNRR).
Overall, the meeting served as a catalyst for promoting dialogue, sharing best practices, and charting a course towards enhanced digital health literacy both locally and across Europe.
